Statesman Old Fashioned

We start with the robust, full-bodied Old Forester Statesman bourbon and pair it with the smoldering, gentle heat of ancho chile liqueur. A touch of maple syrup adds a smooth, woody sweetness, while our Bohemian bitters introduce complex notes of cherry and spice. It’s warm, bold, and perfectly balanced—the ideal sipper for a late summer evening as we look toward fall.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. Old Forester Statesman Bourbon
  • 0.25 oz. Ancho Chile Liqueur
  • 0.25 oz. Maple Syrup
  • 2 droppers Old Forester Bohemian Bitters
  • Lemon peel garnish

Preparation:

Stir with ice, strain into double old fashioned glass with fresh ice. Garnish with wide lemon peel, oils expressed over the cocktail.
