Q: Are you able to ship products to me once I have placed an order?

A: We will not be able to ship any orders through our curbside program and all orders must be picked up at the distillery.


Q: When can I pick my order up at the distillery?

A:  Pick-up times may vary from week to week.  The next available pick-up time will appear on your order confirmation.


Q:  Where do I pick-up my items:

A:  All pick-ups will be in front of Old Forester Distilling Co. at 119 W. Main Street, Louisville, KY.


Q:  What do I do when I arrive to pick-up my items?

A:  Upon arrival, please pull into one of the designated curbside parking spaces, put your vehicle in park, turn off the ignition, and remain in your vehicle.  A member of the Old Forester team will check your ID and deliver your items. We ask that you please allow us to place the items in the trunk of your automobile.


Q:  Can I pick-up my items before my scheduled pick-up time?

A: In order to comply with COVID-19 social distancing guidelines and to ensure the health and safety of our staff and guests, curbside delivery will be done according to a reservation’s confirmed scheduled pick-up time.  Early arrivals may not be able to receive their items until their confirmed pick-up time.


Q:  What happens if I am unable to pick-up my order by 5pm on Friday?

A:  You will be contacted to see if arrangements can be made for the following Friday.  If items cannot be picked up at that time, the order will be cancelled and the credit card refunded.


Q:  What do I need to bring in order to receive my items?

A:  A valid government issued photo ID with proof of age and to confirm identity and a copy of the reservation confirmation email.


Q:  When I arrive to pick-up my items, can I purchase additional items from the gift shop?

A:  The gift shop is not open at this time and all “Old Fo to Go”product inventory must be purchased online.


Q: Can someone else pick up my order?

A: Orders are non-transferrable.  In order to verify age we require the individual who places the order to also pick-up. A valid government issued photo ID with proof of age will be required at that time.


Q:  How can I contact the distillery about my order?

Q: How many bottles may I purchase?

A: Kentucky Law allows us to sell 4.5L to a Purchaser at a time.  Additional restrictions may be placed on speciality bottles.


Q: Is the Old Forester Distillery retail store open?

A: The retail shop is not open at this time. Please continue to monitor our oldforester.com for future announcements.


Q:  Will I be able to place an order for a future Friday pick-up?

A:  At this time, all inventory and orders will be for the current week’s pick-up only. 


Q:  Do I need to be in a vehicle to receive my order or can I walk-up once it’s reserved?

A:  In order to follow social distancing guidelines we ask that all individuals picking up curbside arrive in a vehicle. If you need to make other special arrangements for curbside pickup, please contact the distillery so that we can ensure all safety protocols are followed.


Q:  When will items go on sale?

A:  Weekly offerings will be announced on Monday and while inventory is available, will be online for purchase until Friday morning at 8am.


Q:  Can I return any of the items purchased?

A:  Cancellations can be made at any time.  Once items have been delivered curbside, all sales are final.
