The President’s Choice is a single barrel expression of Old Forester’s most exceptional barrels, historically hand selected by our company President. 

Inspired by the first private single barrels offered in the industry in 1964 by our former president George Garvin Brown II, this modern offering is specifically selected from matured barrels that show exquisite quality and distinct characteristics. These barrels will typically be aged between 7-12 years and will vary within the traditional range of 105-120 proof based on optimal flavor.

 

 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Tropical fruits and fruit punch with a hint of cool whip and notes of grated nutmeg and cacao overtop

Taste: Vibrant chai spice with orange and apricot as snappy cracked pepper and spearmint add texture

Finish: Oak char and fresh cooked grain lead an intriguing finish with a cooling mint sensation on the back end
